How To Play Football Squares
Step 1 - Find a Pool
Your office, friends, or local bar may have a Super Bowl betting pool. Contact them and sign up to be included.
Step 2 - Get The Grid
Once you sign up for a football pool the organizer will hand out the Super Bowl squares template. Here is where the fun begins.
Step 3 - Buy Your Football Squares
The number of squares you buy is up to you. They will have the same price which can range from a few dollars to several hundred, depending on the stakes involved.
Step 4 - Assigning Numbers
Once the Super Bowl boxes are filled, the numbers will be drawn randomly, and names will be assigned to each square. The horizontal side will be the 49er’s numbers and the vertical side, the Chief’s.
Step 5 - Figure Out Winners
A winner(s) will be determined at the end of the 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter, and Final Game score.
The winner is determined by looking at the last number in each teams' score, and then matching those numbers on the grid and seeing which square intersects those two numbers.
