Leo is the Zodiac’s Gambler, bestowed with the innate confidence that all Fire signs possess, with the added advantage of their Fixed, persistent nature giving them the staying power and self-control that Aries and Sagittarius typically lack.
There are so many successful Leo Gamblers, both in cinema and in real life, that it’s almost impossible to ignore, in fact. Leo, of all the signs, does not take rejection well (or lightly) and as a result will typically work hard, both in their personal and professional lives, to get to the point where they never (or at least rarely) have to hear the word, ‘No.’
Leo is in charge; Leo rules the roost, the boardroom, or whatever other room they might happen to strut into. Not afraid to be flashy (never tacky), Leos are born trendsetters, receiving compliments gracefully, somehow managing to hover slightly above the rest of us while somehow managing to remain down-to-earth all at once.
This is perhaps the most sterling of Leo’s many sterling qualities, stemming as it does from the deeply intuitive understanding that life is performance and the world is indeed a stage, as Leo Suns gain comfort with being in the spotlight, usually demonstrating remarkable talent in some artistic feat or another, from what’s usually a very young age.

Leo, like all the Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius), will feel the Saturn-Uranus tension the most in the 7-10 days leading up to their exact alignment, on February 17, June 14, and December 24, respectively.
For Leo, though, the tension emphasizes the demands of a Significant Other or Business Partner in competition with unexpected changes in Your Career. But while this time will be undoubtedly stressful, there’s luck to be had yet, as the Eclipses of 2021 occur in your fifth and eleventh houses of Fun and Friendship.
You and your opposite sign, Aquarius, will feel the need to ‘let loose’ more than most around the time of the four Eclipses this year – especially the Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius on May 26 and the Solar Eclipse on June 10.
These Eclipses are about realizing the need to integrate more Fun & Games into your life, but be careful to use your common sense, particularly in the first two weeks of June. The Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius on December 4, however, will bring you Abundance aplenty – not to mention plenty of opportunities for you to make your signature Bold Moves.
Ruled by the Sun, Leo, much like the planet itself, is so naturally dignified and confident that they attract an enviable amount of attention, often from a pretty early age.
Leo effortlessly draws others into their orbit with an unspoken magnetism, as if they have an Ace always hidden up one sleeve. What differentiates Leo from the other Fire signs, then, is their Resilience, so confident that bouncing back from any loss is – well, I won’t say easy, accustomed as they are to Winning – just something to be shrugged off.
Even if caught insider trading, for instance, Leo will do the time, only to come out stronger on the other side. Martha Stewart is a perfect example of this. In jail, she made jam from the crabapple trees in the prison yard and even after losing a few very lucrative endorsement deals, wasted no time finding her next money-making role, scoring a deal for her acclaimed and aptly-named TV series Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party.
Leo is the sign of Creativity and loves to cook up concoctions of their own design to get them to the Top. It’s Leo’s ‘unbeatable’ ability to effectively capitalize on their magnetism, easily and masterfully teaming up with other Power Players, sharing their unique, self-made recipes for Success with carefully-selected others.
Edward Thorp, the famed Mathematician and author of Beat The Dealer, the original book on how to count cards to ‘beat’ the House Edge in Blackjack, and one of the first players to successfully use the Art of Disguise, was a Leo. So, there you go.
Along with Leo’s unique affinity for strategy and role-play, they have a deep love of sports of all sorts, making Sports Betting, along with Blackjack, especially good choices for them.

Leo is the sign of Royalty, and by carrying themselves like Kings and Queens, they usually find the Red Carpet rolled out for them in some form or another in a way that many other Sun Signs can only dream of. From Robert DeNiro to Martha Stewart, Leo comes into the world blessed with confidence, poise, and considerable talent makes them well-suited for any kind of role.
Leo’s commanding presence alone often lands them in the role of Leading Man/Lady, Commander-in-Chief – both Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, two of America’s most renowned Presidents are Leo Suns – or Top Dog, always crowned the ‘Best in Show.’ It’s as if the Spotlight seeks them out, rather than the other way around. At least as far as Leo is concerned.
George Soros is one of many Leo Suns on the Forbes List this year not surprising, as Leo, like Capricorn, is rarely an Open Book when asked about their strategies for ‘success.’ Why is George Soros such an expert when it comes to investments?
He, like most Leo Suns, implicitly understands Suze Orman’s famous adage: ‘First people, then money, then things.’ Much like Sagittarius, Leo’s magnetism is powerful in its effortlessness, easily attracting admirers and trustworthy confidants alike.
