Resorts Digital and their upward trend in terms of revenue for online casinos in New Jersey continued in November, as we watch their steady climb to record heights as 2019 ends thanks to the most recent numbers released by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
Resorts had its third-straight record revenue month in November, as they stood above the rare $10-million threshold and came close to eclipsing $11 million. Only dominant Golden Nugget Online Casino is ahead of Resorts at this point, with all other operators seemingly being left in the dust by these two NJ online casino juggernauts.
Four online gambling operators are contributing to Resorts’ record revenue numbers as they look to close out 2019 strong:
The first land-based casino to open in Atlantic City is also now one of the top online casino brands in New Jersey. Resorts Online Casino has a strong following thanks to a strong casino library, great promotions, and a quality sportsbook tied into one wallet.
Already one of the most well-known Daily Fantasy Sports and NJ sports betting apps, DraftKings also boasts a quality online casino in New Jersey. Usually tied in with FanDuel in most of their business ventures, having a casino under their umbrella is something FanDuel cannot lay claim to yet.
The Mohegan Sun brand is synonymous with casinos in the Northeast, and their continued partnership with Resorts Digital serves both brands as they head into the new decade stronger than ever.
Only 3 of the online casinos in New Jersey can lay claim to poker revenue. Thanks to PokerStars, Resorts Digital is one of them. Their added revenue from online poker continues to give them a source of revenue that sets them apart from most other brands.
After spending the early part of 2019 between $6-8 million in revenue, it would have been hard to predict that Resorts Digital would have ended up closing in on $11 million in revenue when the NJ DGE November revenue numbers were released. Now we’re visualizing an even-stronger Resorts brand as we head into 2020.
Month/Year | May 2019 | June 2019 | July 2019 | Aug 2019 | Sept 2019 | Oct 2019 |
Nov 2019 |
2019 YTD Total (w/ adjustments) | 2018 YTD Total |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Gross Revenue (in millions) | $7.97 | $6.93 | $6.89 | $7.45 | $8.93 | $10.33 | $10.99 | $88.15 | $45.31 |
The revenue keeps climbing for Resorts in a record November, as they hit $10,988,804 for the month. That’s a jump of over $650,000 from October’s record and a leap of over $2 million in revenue from what was a record in September. It’s impossible to deny the remarkable trend that Resorts has going as 2019 nears its end.
With 11 months of numbers released for 2019, we can see now that Resorts Digital is about to double their 2018 revenue total of $45,307,723. With adjustments, Resorts is at $88,147,488 for the year with December’s numbers yet to be released. That’s a new monthly average of just over $8 million. Seems like Resorts Digital is set up for a Happy Holiday for sure as we’ll verify once December’s numbers are released and 2019 comes to an official close.
