NJ Online Casinos | Borgata Edging Caesars in 2019 Revenue

The pecking order when it comes to online casino revenue in New Jersey is pretty clear at the top, but things become a bit blurred as we move down the list.

Golden Nugget and a team of strong, profitable brands lead the way with Resorts Digital and its own group of impactful operators coming in a distant, but still impressive second place. The next two spots are taken up by Borgata Online Casino and Caesars, with Borgata holding a rather slim edge through the first few months of 2019 revenue reports from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

As 2019 continues to roll on, it isn't just the top operators and brands contributing significant revenue to the online casino industry in New Jersey, and Borgata and Caesars deserve their due for the role hey play month-in and month-out. Below, we'll detail how both Caesars Online Casino and Borgata Casino Online arrived to this point and what May had in store for them financially.

Borgata Registers Highest Monthly Revenue Total Of 2019 In May

Borgata has something to hang its hat on following the most recent revenue report from the New Jersey DGE as the only online casino in the state to reach its monthly high in the month of May. Its previous high was $5.45 million in March, followed by $5.46 in April and finally a robust $5.90 in May.

The climb over the last three months means Borgata Online Casino is up to over $26 million in gross revenue for 2019, and is well on pace to surpass its total of $54.32 from a year ago. The way it stands now, Borgata leads Caesars by just over three million dollars after closing last year with a lead of nearly $9 million.

Caesars Remains Consistent, Closely Trails Borgata In Online Casino Revenue

Although Caesars Online Casino is behind Borgata, it isn't by much. To its credit, Caesars has remained consistent the entire way through 2019 to this point. Its lowest revenue month of $4.23 in February and its highest month of $5.14 in March aren't as far apart as we've seen with other online casinos in New Jersey, proving Caesars Casino Online can hold its own regardless of time of the year.

Caesars Online only dipped slightly from its $4.58 million total in April to $4.47 million in revenue in May according to New Jersey DGE. Just like Borgata Online, Caesars Casino is on terrific pace to smash its year-to-date totals from 2018, when it raked in $45.65 million. The current 2019 money total of $23.08 million through five months is already more than halfway toward reaching bigger heights in 2019.
