For the third month in a row, revenue from NJ online casinos hit record numbers, based on Dec. 2018 numbers released by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. Golden Nugget Online Casino, Borgata Online Casino, playMGM (under the Borgata umbrella,) Caesars Online Casino and others combined for a $43.7 million haul at the end of the year. That surpassed the record in November by more than $2 million, which had beat the previous record in October. NJ online casinos, as well as states who are waiting for legalization such as PA online casinos, are eager to see what is in store for 2019.

Golden Nugget, Borgata Set New Personal Records In December
As the records continually fall for NJ online casinos as a whole, so do individual online casino in New Jersey records month after month. For example, Borgata Online Casino set a personal record in Dec. 2018 as they passed the $5 million mark for the month. But many players must have taken advantage of the Golden Nugget Online Casino bonus code, as they shot past $10 million for the month to set another mega milestone for revenue.
Ocean Resort Casino Falters Despite NJ Online Casinos Thriving
As it's announced that Ocean Resort Casino is now under the control of Luxor Capital Group, the revenue numbers from December show a struggle to maintain relevance amongst many other revenue bulls in the Atlantic City area. After having their best month ever in November, they suffered from a 35% drop in revenue in December. It will be interesting to see how the new majority owners are able to turn things around for the maligned casino, as they've pledged to invest $70 million into the location to make it competitive again.
NJ Online Casino Revenue Up, Online Poker Revenue Down
While online casino revenue in New Jersey keeps increasing month-over-month, NJ online poker revenues continue their downturn in the Garden State. New Jersey's poker sites have reported losses in 21 of the last 22 months. But it's not all bad news for poker in New Jersey, with the largest month-to-month growth in 2018 happening in the month of December.

Partnerships and cross-selling between the two entities look to be the catalyst in the increased revenue, and experts look for that to continue well into 2019 as we await January's numbers.
