Revenue Leader Golden Nugget Earns $13.6M In June

As it has done repeatedly on a month-to-month basis for the past three years, Golden Nugget managed its way to the top of the June 2019 online casino revenue list in the Garden State, based on the most recent revenue numbers from the New Jersey Division Of Gaming Enforcement.

Golden Nugget began cementing itself as one of the best online casinos in New Jersey several summers ago and hasn't looked back, leading revenue earnings every month since June 2016. Eventually, it generated nearly $105 million in 2018 and currently has itself on pace to destroy that number in 2019. There doesn't seem to be any slowing down for the mobile casino juggernaut, thanks in large part to four strong operators pushing it to the top, which are detailed below:

In addition to its success in New Jersey, Golden Nugget is also looking to take over the Keystone State. It has applied for an interactive license to start up an online casino in Pennsylvania and the hope is to offer online sports betting by the end of the summer.

  • Betfair Online Casino

Paddy Power Betfair made a huge splash when they became the majority owner of FanDuel, forming what is now called the FanDuel Group. And with FanDuel Sportsbook at the top of the heap in sports betting revenue in New Jersey, you can say that the acquisition has been a fruitful one thus far for PPB. The two have a shared wallet between the casino and sportsbook, giving customers easy access to switch back and forth between accounts.

  • SugarHouse Online Casino

SugarHouse is achieving success in New Jersey, but it is also pioneering in Pennsylvania after expanding into their online casino and sports betting markets. SugarHouse Online Sportsbook was the first to launch in Pennsylvania, and the new SugarHouse Online Casino was among the first to go live in July 2019.

  • BetAmerica Casino

An established horse racing name, BetAmerica now falls under the Golden Nugget umbrella in New Jersey, bringing another proven brand to the strong pack that continues to blossom in just a few months since hopping on board.

Golden Nugget Approaches $80M Year To Date Revenue

While sites like Resorts and Borgata Online Casino consistently put up solid figures, they just can't compare to the powerhouse that is Golden Nugget. Once again, it's at the top of the list for monthly revenue in June once again after pulling in $13.6 million, which accounts for over 30 percent of the entire NJ online casino industry's $45 million production during the month. Check out the month-by-month breakdown of internet gaming revenues at Golden Nugget to this point in the year:

Through June 2019, Golden Nugget has totaled $78,685,841 in revenue, according to the New Jersey DGE report and is on pace to easily smash the mark set last year at almost $105 million. Only half the year is complete, but following a seventh straight month at double-digit millions in earnings, the current pace is nearing $157 million. When the $13.6 million in June is the lowest in the past four months but still doubles the closest competition, something is going right. Over the past several years, nearly everything has gone that way for Golden Nugget.
