Nearly everyone who follows the NBA is aware that it has become a year-round league. No. 3 Pick – New York Knicks

The Knicks are in an interesting position. It appears the draft has three top prospects, with the rest of the field a notch below, and New York has a crack at one of them if they want it. They could use the pick in a potential trade for a star like Anthony Davis, or to move back in the first round for multiple picks. The Knicks’ long-term opinion of Barrett along with the rest of the talent in the draft’s top talent will go a long way toward deciding whether one asset at No. 3 beats multiple assets later in the draft. The lack of  certainty also makes it difficult for New Jersey sports betting players to decide whether a bet on the Knicks’ pick is worthwhile.

Whether New York keeps the pick or not, the expectation remains that Barrett goes No. 3 overall. His odds are -2000 to go third, while the next closest players are at +1000 (UVA’s De’Andre Hunter and Duke’s Cam Reddish). Barrett is slated to meet with New York leading up to the draft, so only time will tell where the Knicks go in the draft to aid their rebuild.
