NCAA Basketball Betting Picks: Top Games of the Day
No. 19 Wisconsin @ No. 7 Michigan (-6.5) - 12pm
Wisconsin comes into Saturday’s matchup is 5.5-point underdogs against Michigan, according to 888sport. The Badgers have already downed Michigan this season for one of the Wolverines’ two losses and are also 6-3 on the road this season, proving they can win conference games away from home. With that said, playing at Crisler Center against Michigan is a different story. The Wolverines are 14-0 on their home court this season and it’s hard to see that changing here. Wisconsin will struggle to put up points and Michigan should be in position to pull away late for the cover.
Pick: Michigan Wolverines -6.5
No. 5 Kentucky Wildcats (-5) @ Mississippi State Bulldogs - 1pm
Mississippi State comes into Saturday’s game as 5-point underdogs using 888 sports betting lines. The Bulldogs are 10-2 at home this season and look to avenge an earlier loss to the Wildcats in Lexington, but this could be a spot for the road team. Kentucky is one of the hottest teams in the country winning nine of its last 10 and covering in each of the last seven games. Mississippi State is a bit inconsistent and the Wildcats are too hot to go against, even in a tough SEC environment on the road.
Pick: Kentucky Wildcats -5
TCU Horned Frogs @ No. 17 Iowa State Cyclones (-10.5) - 2pm
Iowa State is back on its home floor as nearly double-digit favorites against TCU on Saturday, according to the 888 Sportsbook app. The Cyclones are one of the better home teams in the Big 12 and the country at 11-1. Iowa State has also covered seven of its last 11 home games while TCU has covered just one out of its last five on the road. The Horned Frogs are just 1-5 on the road this season and winless away from home in conference play. It’s hard not to see the Cyclones dominating this one by double digits at Hilton Coliseum.
Pick: Iowa State Cyclones -10.5
Florida Gators @ No. 1 Tennessee Volunteers (-11) - 4pm
No. 1 Tennessee hosts SEC-rival Florida as 11-point favorites on Saturday, according to 888 Sportsbook. Despite being the top team in the country to this point, Tennessee manages to fly a bit under the radar and really are a team to be reckoned with. The Volunteers have won 17 straight games and all 13 contests on its home floor this season. The Gators have covered none of the last five games and walk into an environment where things don’t feel like they’re gonna change. Florida is 7-1 ATS in the last eight between these two, but Tennessee is simply dominant at home and should win big to extend the streak to 18.
Pick: Tennessee Volunteers -11
No. 2 Duke Blue Devils @ No. 3 Virginia Cavaliers (-2) - 6pm
Virginia enters Saturday’s much-anticipated tilt with Duke as 2-point favorites on 888 Online Sportsbook. The Cavaliers are tops in the ACC and have an 11-0 record at home, but Duke is widely considered to be the most talented and complete team in the country. Both squads have won nine of 10, but the Blue Devils escaped with a 72-70 win over Virginia at Cameron Indoor earlier this season. Virginia is an awesome team led by a structured, forceful defense, however, they lack the player you can just hand the ball to for a big-time basket. Duke has at least two of those players in Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett, who combined for 57 points against UVA last time possibly even more candidates for that waiting in the wings. Despite a hostile environment I think the best team in the country shows its true colors and Duke sweeps the season series.
Pick: Duke Blue Devils +2
Best of luck!
