Giannis Antentokounmpo is the best player on the floor every game, so while a healthy Joel Embiid (illness) definitely helps Philly, we expect a playoff-type atmosphere and a very small margin of victory for the away team.

Rockets vs Warriors Predictions

This game isn’t turning out to be what NBA schedule-makers intended when putting it on this slate. Still, the Rockets are must-see TV for basketball fans, and James Harden is appointment television. The lefty is averaging nearly 39 points and eight rebounds per game as Houston occupies the No. 3 spot in the west. It’s really no wonder the Rockets are such big favorites at NJ betting sites.

Both teams play Monday, so the rest factor doesn’t lean one way or the other. To close out our NBA Christmas Day predictions, we go to the Mile High City for Denver and New Orleans. To change things up, however, we are looking at making an NBA totals pick instead of going with the spread. Currently, the number is set at 219.5 points for Wednesday evening.

People see the Pelicans and Nuggets as high-powered offensive teams, which they are, and immediately assume their games go over the total. The reality is otherwise, as the over is 6-10 in home games in Denver and only 8-7 in New Orleans’ road games.

The Pelicans’ offense is one of the slowest in the league while the Nuggets are on an impressive winning streak that has seen them allow more than 105 points just twice in 12 December games.
