FanDuel Sportsbook has put a great offer on the table for NJ sports betting players. This weekend, anyone who makes an NFL parlay bet will get refunded if the bet happens to lose. The FanDuel Wild Card Parlay Insurance means players will have a free chance to win some serious cash on this weekend’s NFL Wild Card games.
The rules for this FanDuel promotion are rather simple. First, your bet must be a parlay on this weekend’s NFL games. A parlay is a cumulative series of bets. The parlay must have bets with odds of -200 or better. Bets must be wagered by 4:34 PM EST on Jan. 5. If you lose your bet, FanDuel will refund you with a site credit up to $25. This promotion is one wager per person.
It goes without saying that there are some intriguing matchups for the NFL Wild Card.
The NFL Wild Card round is as follows:
There are some tough choices here. First looking at the NFC, I can see a close game between the Eagles and Bears, despite Nick Foles being banged up. The FanDuel app has the Eagles +6, making them a tempting pick in that game. I can see myself pulling the trigger on that this weekend.
As for the Seahawks-Cowboys matchup, it is hard to count out Russell Wilson, even on the road. The Seahawks are +2.5, but the FanDuel Sportsbook app has set the over/under at 42.5 and I may place my wager on the over in that scenario. Seattle has put up 27 points a game this season and the Cowboys’ offense has gotten back on track since being blanked by the Colts a few weeks ago. If the over/under was 45, I would be wary, but I like the over at 42.5.
Over his last 10 games, Andrew Luck has thrown 23 touchdown passes with seven interceptions. His yard per pass attempt is 7.98 to go along with a 69.53 completion percentage and a 106.8 QB rating. It also goes without saying that Derrick Henry has been running over people the past four weeks. The Colts’ offense is rolling as they are top five in the league in points per game. But the offense isn’t quite as explosive on the road and now they have to deal with a Houston Texans’ defense that is in the top five for points against and is even stronger at home. Deshaun Watson has been pretty great in his last nine games and I think the Texans do enough on offense to squeak out a win against Andrew Luck and the Colts.
It feels like Philip Rivers has been underrated his whole career, but he struggled in Week 16 in a loss against a strong Baltimore Ravens’ defense. Can he bounce back and lead what is normally a quality Chargers’ offense? Now would be the opportune time to go on a magical playoff run to solidify his career. At age 37, he is running out of time. On the flip side, Lamar Jackson will become the youngest QB to start an NFL playoff game. The over is set at 41.5 by FanDuel Sportsbook and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 20-17 final in this one, considering both teams are top 10 in points against. Let’s go with the under and hope for the best.
The best part about all of this? The FanDuel Sportsbook NFL Wild Card Risk-Free Parlay promotion has us covered in case we turn out to be wrong. Good luck everyone!
