Updated NCAA Tournament Odds To Win The National Championship From DraftKings Sportsbook

Now that the first two rounds have been played, futures odds on the 2019 NCAA Tournament have updated. There are certainly teams with better odds now than before to win the title, but without the elimination of any sports betting favorites there haven’t been too many overwhelming changes.

Below is a list of each team in the Sweet 16 and its DraftKings Sportsbook odds to cut down the nets after prevailing in the Final Four:

  • No. 1 Duke (+300) - East Region Breakdown
  • No. 1 Virginia (+400) - South Region Breakdown
  • No. 1 Gonzaga (+500) - West Region Breakdown
  • No. 1 North Carolina (+500) - Midwest Region Breakdown
  • No. 2 Michigan State (+900)
  • No. 2 Kentucky (+1150)
  • No. 2 Michigan (+1600)
  • No. 2 Tennessee (+1600)
  • No. 3 Purdue (+2200)
  • No. 3 Texas Tech (+2300)
  • No. 5 Auburn (+3000)
  • No. 3 Houston (+4000)
  • No. 4 Virginia Tech (+5000)
  • No. 4 Florida State (+6000)
  • No. 3 LSU (+6000)
  • No. 12 Oregon (+12000)

Among the teams with better odds than before the tournament started are No. 1 seeds North Carolina and Virginia. The Tar Heels were +750 on DraftKings Sportsbook and are now +500 after making it through the opening weekend. Virginia avoided an early exit for the second straight season and as a result saw their odds move from +700 to +400 after two wins to begin the 2019 NCAA Tournament.

Interestingly, the No. 1 overall seed Duke can be had at a more favorable price now than before the tournament began. After being a dominant +240 favorite at the start, the Blue Devils are now +300 with less room separating them and Virginia in the eyes of oddsmakers. Duke-UCF Thriller Dominates Sports Betting Action In NCAA Tournament Second Round

The opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament featured several exciting second round games, many of which were popular among NJ online sports betting players using the DraftKings Sportsbook app.

The epic matchup between Duke and Central Florida didn’t only produce the most excitement of any NCAA Tournament game so far, it was also the source of the most sports betting action. The Duke-UCF tilt saw the most total wagers of any second round contest while pulling in the second-most money of any game on the schedule this past weekend. In the end, the No. 1 overall seeded Blue Devils narrowly escaped with a one-point victory, keeping NCAA bracket pools everywhere from exploding.

The NCAA Tournament second round game that saw the most March Madness sports betting action in  terms of money was Kentucky and Wofford, although it saw the second-most tickets after Duke and UCF. NJ online sports betting players who wagered on Kentucky may have snatched victory from the jaws of defeat after the Wildcats made two late free throws to seal a six-point win. Many bets were made with a spread of Kentucky -5 or 5.5, giving bettors an ever-so-slim victory against the spread.

Auburn’s win over Kansas in the second round took in the third-most money of any weekend game and LSU’s exciting Sunday matinee win over Maryland coming in fourth. Michigan and Florida took the third-most tickets and rounds out the top five in overall money wagered. Florida State’s huge win over Murray State and North Carolina’s blowout victory over Washington also took plenty of tickets during the second round.

DraftKings Sportsbook NJ Online Sports Betting Player Wins Incredible Seven-Team Parlay

There’s no better feeling than turning a small amount of money  into a much larger amount of money with a nice parlay. Sometimes, you need to tip your cap to an incredible bet, and the DraftKings Sportsbook app did just that during March Madness this weekend.

One NJ online sports betting player hit a seven-side parlay, which is difficult enough. Now add in that the bet was $0.14 to win $1,345.78, which are astronomical +9613 odds. How was it done? Well, with such little money being wagered, only using seven teams to get +9613 odds means the bet had to feature some low odds in there somewhere.

In order to increase odds, this bettor made it more difficult to win as they combined a winner of the game and a prediction on the total to make each side of his parlay. Here are the seven sides chosen in this amazing winning bet on DraftKings Sportsbook on Saturday, March 23:

  • Kentucky -5.5 & Under (+280)
  • Michigan -5.5 & Under (+265)
  • Florida State -4.5 & Over (+270)
  • Gonzaga -14.5 & Over (+270)
  • Michigan State -10.5 & Under (+275)
  • Purdue -3.5 & Over (+275)
  • Auburn -1.5 & Over (+260)

Bet On NCAA Tournament At DraftKings Sportsbook!

By combining the winner and the total, this NJ online sports betting player was able to increase their odds on all seven sides, rather than selecting a spread or total by itself at -110 odds. On a ticket loaded with favorites to cover the spread, what makes this bet most impressive is correctly guessing seven totals in the NCAA Tournament. Cheers to a great March Madness sports betting win, and thank goodness for those late Kentucky free throws or this bet is over before it really begins.
