Final Four Betting Data From NJ Sportsbook

Today, BonusSeeker is using data provided by DraftKings Sportsbook to break down which wagers are most popular for NJ online sports betting players heading into the Final Four.

March Madness 2019: Michigan State Getting Majority Of Action On DraftKings Sportsbook

After bets on DraftKings Sportsbook were split down the middle early in the week, East Region champion Michigan State, a March Madness veteran, has taken over the action.

While 58 percent of NJ online sports betting players on DraftKings Sportsbook favor Michigan State on the moneyline, an almost nearly identical 59 percent of the total point spread bets have also been placed on the Spartans. The spread began at -3 when the line opened, but has since moved to where it sits currently at Michigan State -2.5. The moneyline for the Spartans is -143 going into the Final Four matchup with Texas Tech.

Final Four 2019: Underdog Auburn Seeing Plenty of Final Four NJ Sports Betting Picks

Despite Virginia being the lone No. 1 seed remaining and looking to complete its revenge tour against college basketball, NJ online sports betting players aren’t buying into the favorite.

After overcoming similar odds against the Midwest Region’s top seeds in North Carolina and Kentucky, No. 5 Auburn is seeing 64 percent of the action on the moneyline, which is currently at +230 on DraftKings Sportsbook. At 81 percent, the Tigers are taking an even higher amount of the point spread bets. The line currently sits at Auburn +6 after opening at +5.5 earlier in the week.

2019 Final Four Odds Comparison On DraftKings Sportsbook App

This is the part of the season where NJ sports betting players with they placed futures bets back in November for one of these schools to win the 2019 NCAA Tournament. Each of these schools came with massive odds and payouts at the start of the season, and now sit just two games from March Madness glory.

Here is a chart noting the difference in NCAA Tournament odds from the beginning of the season until now.

  • Virginia (+140 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

After last season’s nightmare finish, the Cavaliers were one of the NJ sports betting favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook at +1600 to begin the season. Their odds remained low at +725 prior to the first round of the tournament. After dicing through the South Region, Virginia is now the 2019 NCAA Tournament odds-on favorite heading into the Final Four at +140 and has just shorthanded Auburn in front of it to reach the championship game.

  • Michigan State (+195 on DraftKings Sportsbook app)

The Spartans slayed the giant in top overall seed Duke in order to get out of the East Region, and have become a popular Final Four prediction over Texas Tech to reach the title game. Michigan State could be had before the season at +2500, then at +1700 on the DraftKings Sportsbook app prior to the NCAA Tournament. With just the Final Four to play, the Spartans’ +195 odds are second-lowest.

  • Texas Tech (+400 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

The Red Raiders beat Michigan and Gonzaga for a well-earned trip to the Final Four, the first in school history. Texas Tech was a championship afterthought at the beginning of the season at +5000. Even as a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament, not many looked their way at +300. It would take two more extremely impressive wins to pay out for NJ sports betting players at +400, but the Big 12 regular season champs have the defense to compete.

  • Auburn (+650 on DraftKings app)

Despite losing Chuma Okeke, the Auburn continued its run from SEC Tournament champion to the program’s first Final Four. After being +4100 at the start of the season, Auburn had been looked past before the NCAA Tournament by many in a Midwest Region with UNC, Kentucky and Houston. As the largest underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook at +650, the Tigers’ road may be the toughest one left to a title, but we still wouldn’t count them out.
