Virginia easily slices through the South Region until getting a near-miracle in an overtime win over Purdue to reach the Final Four.

Virginia only has one senior, but sophomore De’Andre Hunter along with juniors Kyle Guy and Ty Jerome more than make up for it in experience and these Cavaliers no longer get rattled in any situation. They’ve trailed at halftime or in the second half on several occasions this season, including in the NCAA Tournament. In the end, it’s smothering defense and timely shooting that usually puts them back on level ground. Once all things are even, Virginia finishes games as well as any team in the country.

The NCAAB Pick: This is the first title game for either program, which means history is being made tonight one way or the other. Admittedly, we didn’t think Virginia would be in this spot, but those making  NJ sports betting picks online who have backed the Cavaliers have been rewarded.
