NCAAB Sports Betting Picks: Top College Basketball Plays of the Day
Louisville Cardinals @ North Carolina Tar Heels (-7) - 7pm
North Carolina faces Louisville in the ACC Tournament as seven-point favorites, according to the SugarHouse Sportsbook app. The Cardinals looked awesome in their opening-round game and are strolling into the NCAA Tournament, but we are taking UNC to take care of business as our first online sports betting pick. The Tar Heels have done well for NJ sports betting players, covering 10 of 14 overall and has played well regardless of venue this season. UNC should have a good amount of support in Charlotte playing a neutral-site game as well, and the thought here is they run away late on Louisville.
Pick: North Carolina Tar Heels (-7)
Syracuse Orange @ Duke Blue Devils (-11) - 9pm
Duke gets Zion Williamson back for the ACC Tournament and comes in huge favorites over Syracuse, according to SugarHouse Sportsbook. It’s never easy to give a ton of points, especially to a solid team, even with a fully-healthy Duke team trying to kick it into gear for the NCAA Tournament. I think Syracuse has a solid showing, however, and the Blue Devils struggle to get going with Zion back. Those making NCAAB picks on this game should keep in mind that the Orange have covered four of the last six vs. Duke and 14 of 21 overall. Duke wins, but by 10 or less to start the ACC Tournament.
Pick: Duke Blue Devils -11 (-110)
Texas Longhorns @ Kansas Jayhawks (-2.5) - 9:30pm
Kansas enters the opening round of the Big 12 Tournament as slight NJ online sports betting favorites over Texas, according to SugarHouse Sportsbook. The Jayhawks have been awful away from its home floor this season, but lucky for them, Kansas City is like their second home. Kansas gets a ton of support and generally plays well in the Big 12 Tournament, so despite this being a down year, they can cover a small line vs. Texas. The Longhorns have covered eight of 11 overall, but sometimes the trends are going in the wrong direction. Can’t see Kansas losing in the first round of the league tournament in Kansas City, so the Jayhawks are the free NCAAB pick today.
Pick: Kansas Jayhawks -2.5 (-112)
NCAAB Over/Under Pick Of The Day
St. John’s Red Storm @ Marquette Golden Eagles (Over/Under 150 points) - 9:30pm
These two teams played twice this season (two Red Storm wins) with one high-scoring affair and one low-scoring slopfest. Given the pace these teams are capable of and the excitement on the home floor of St. John’s at MSG in the Big East Tournament, I think we’ll see them get up and down a bit more than some other teams in the conference. As long as this one remains relatively close down the stretch, 150 points should be attainable for these two teams. Trends go both ways but the ones that stand out to me tell us that the over has hit in 11 of the last 16 neutral site games for Marquette, and five of the last six for St. John’s.
Pick: St. John’s/Marquette Over 150 (-110)
Best of luck!
