Week 15 of the NFL season got going with a thrilling comeback win for NJ sports betting players who took the road underdog on Thursday night. The Chargers (+3.5) scored two late touchdowns and nailed a two-point conversion in the final seconds for a thrilling 29-28 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in a huge AFC West showdown. If that’s any indication of what’s to come this week on the NJ sports betting scene, it’s sure to be a wild Week 15.
To ring in the holiday season, BetStars NJ is offering all new players a free $50 bet. So if you missed out on Thursday’s win, you can still click here to sign up for a $50 Free Bet. Just be sure to sign up between Thursday and Monday (Today is Friday!) of each week this December to claim your $50 Free Bet. So in celebration of this promotion, I will be using the BetStars Sportsbook’s NFL lines to make my picks for Week 15 of the NFL.
In terms of picks, Week 14 was a rough one, admittedly. Everything seemed to go wrong for our ATS, underdog and over/under picks, as well as our three-team teaser. Good news is, there’s nowhere to go but up! And with that, onto Week 15 with the help of BetStars Sportsbook.

Three Jars of Sauce: Picks Against The Spread (ATS) For Week 15
Cleveland @ Denver (-2.5) - Saturday, 8:20 pm
Despite a very bad and possibly costly loss last week to the 49ers, the Broncos are in the thick of it. They can move to 7-7 with a win while four 7-6 teams sit in front of them in a cloudy AFC Wild Card picture. The Browns have been impressive and are right on the Broncos’ heels in the race, but I see the defense coming up big at home here. Denver should cover by a field goal in Mile High with a playoff spot still within reach.
Pick: Denver Broncos (-2.5)
Green Bay @ Chicago (-6) - Sunday, 1pm
The Bears are not only at home, but have won six of seven and are fresh off a huge win over the NFC-leading Rams. However, hard to go against Aaron Rodgers getting nearly a touchdown in a rivalry game. Packers have a playoff heartbeat left, but I do feel Chicago probably wins this game and clinches the NFC North. Still, in A-Rod (to some degree) we trust.
Pick: Green Bay Packers +6
Seattle (-3.5) @ San Francisco - Sunday, 4pm
The Seahawks are 8-5 and headed back to the playoffs while riding a four-game winning streak. They haven’t had a letdown game yet since starting 0-2 and it’s hard to see that happening here. They may not be as strong on the road, but Seattle just ripped the 49ers by 27 a couple of weeks ago. Plus, it’s hard to see them having found an answer for Russell Wilson.
Pick: Seattle Seahawks (3.5)
Road Underdog That Barks in Week 15
Dallas @ Indianapolis (-3) - Sunday, 1pm
In this spot last week I went against Dallas and it burned me. Indy burned me as well, ending the Texans’ nine-game streak after being shut out by Jacksonville the week before. Both of these teams are hot, but something has to give. Forgive me for buying the hype, but I’m taking the Cowboys as road underdogs at Lucas Oil Stadium behind a strong defense and running game.
Pick: Dallas Cowboys (+3)
Exotic Bet Of The Week: 3-Team Teaser
*A teaser allows you to alter the original spread by a certain number of points. When using three teams, the player is gifted 10 points in each game to add onto whichever end of the spread they choose.
EXAMPLE: If the Rams are 11.5-point favorites this week (-11.5), which makes the Eagles 11.5-point underdogs (+11.5). By using this game in a 3-team teaser, we have 10 points to use against the spread either way we choose. Either the Eagles can have 10 points added to make them +21.5, or the Rams’ spread can be lowered by 10 points, leaving them at -1.5 to cover.*
Week 15 3-Team Teaser
- Rams -1.5 (originally -11.5)
- Saints +3.5 (originally -6.5)
- Falcons -.5 (originally -10.5)
The Rams are returning home after being shut down by Chicago in the cold. They should definitely win even if they don’t cover the number, especially with the Eagles missing Carson Wentz for possibly the rest of the season. The Saints are rolling into the playoffs as NFC South champs while the Panthers went from 6-2 to 6-7 thanks to five straight losses featuring totally uninspiring football. Even if the Saints somehow lose since Carolina is much stronger at home, teres 3.5 points to back you up. There isn’t much to say about Falcons/Cardinals, I’m just venturing to guess the Atlanta birds can top the Arizona birds at home while taking the spread almost entirely out of play.
Best of luck!
