NFL Parlay Picks And Predictions: 2020 Divisional Round
The second round of the NFL playoffs feature the same number of games as Wild Card weekend, but it's still an abbreviated schedule in comparison to the regular season. There are only two games per day and four total, so options are a bit limited if you're excluding prop markets and dealing with only conventional moneylines, spreads, and totals.
Despite the lack of games to choose from, we've still built several parlays to consider when making your NFL divisional round picks for the weekend.
NFL Divisional Round Parlay: Best NFL Bet This Week
These wagers are notoriously difficult to win, so it's pretty important to employ some type of parlay betting strategy. Going for a massive payout is always fun, but most winning parlays consist of just two or three teams and don't have incredible odds.
Our best parlay this week attacks the totals for both AFC matchups and one home favorite on the moneyline in the NFC, combining for +444 odds if you sign up with a SugarHouse Sportsbook promo code.
Outdoor playoff games tend to go under, as do games with high winds. That's what we're going to see in Baltimore Saturday, along with some potential rain.
The way Baltimore and Tennessee both want to play, we can't help but lean under. Both of these teams run the football and control the clock at an elite level, though the Ravens are seemingly in a league of their own. Assuming the score doesn't get out of control too early, both teams should stick with the run, especially in the conditions.
There won't be rain in Kansas City but there will be wind, and it could negate some of Kansas city's big-play offense through the air. Also, consider that the under is 36-22-1 at Arrowhead since Andy Reid took over the team.
These two teams did add up to 55 last time out, but both defenses are much improved and the second half only half 15 points.
We lean toward the Packers beating injury-plagued Seattle and defending home field coming off a week of rest, but the spread doesn't feel like a slam-dunk. The Seahawks managed to play in so many close games, especially on the road, so we are eliminating the four points and going with the moneyline.
NFL Divisional Round Parlay For Saturday Playoff Games
With two games set for Saturday, we've got a two-side parlay that covers the Vikings vs. 49ers and Titans vs. Ravens matchups and pays out at +265 odds.
San Francisco is well-rested, at home, and the better team...so why the Vikings?
The short answer is that what Minnesota did in New Orleans last week was pretty impressive, and it appears Mike Zimmer's team has a recipe for staying in ballgames. Taking into account that it's Jimmy G's first playoff start, we think the Vikings can keep this close rather than get blown out of the water.
In Baltimore, we're doubling up on the total not quite reaching 47 points with the rushing attacks and weather playing major factors. The Ravens should win the game, but the spread is huge and the Baltimore moneyline provides little value.
NFL Divisional Round Parlay: Playoff Predictions For Sunday
With the spread moving between nine and 10 points, we've been undecided with Kansas City and Houston. The Chiefs have a slew of things going their way like a dynamic offense, coming off the bye, playing at home, and a massive coaching advantage. For this bet, we're banking that those things pay dividends as Houston could be forced to play catch-up.
Cold weather doesn't always equal unders but in this case, it should at Lambeau Field on Sunday. Not because it will be freezing, but because these teams excel at running the football and need to do it somewhat successfully in order to win. For the last of our NFL Divisional Round predictions, Seahawks and Packers stay under 47 points. Just like the last one, this wager pays at +265 at SugarHouse Sportsbook PA.
