NFL Week 7 Parlay Picks | How Do NFL Parlays Work?
Parlays are combination wagers with at least two sides combined together in the same bet. These bets earn larger payouts than single (or straight) bets, which is both the positive and negative of parlays. It's a difficult wager to win, but one where a small investment can yield a large reward.
Football fans love betting parlays for several reasons, one of them being that large payouts can be had. The other is that rooting interest in your bet can last all day. Sundays, after all, are about being entertained.
For the most part, parlays are made up of standard moneylines, spreads, and totals. Prop markets can be included at many NJ and PA sportsbooks but here, we will stick to the conventional types of bets that are most commonly used.

NFL Week 7 Parlay Picks: The Favorites (+134 at DraftKings)
One of the most popular NFL parlay strategies is combining multiple favorites together into one wager. The odds aren't great but it's a much safer bet than most, and we've secured several wins over the past month by going this route so let's use it again for our Week 7 parlays.
As they all do, this bet just makes logical sense on all three levels. It's just a matter of whether what should happen does indeed happen, which can't be counted on in the NFL.
We don't even need to analyze the New York Jets to know that the Bills are going to wipe the floor with them. You could actually keep this one safe and get some more value by going with an alternate line somewhere below the 13-point spread currently being offered.
The Chargers are only 1-4 this season but have played some pretty stiff competition and remain close in every game. Los Angeles is coming off a bye and facing the last-ranked DVOA defense in the NFL when Jacksonville comes to town.
The Packers are admittedly a bit of a risk after what happened in Week 6. At the same time, the public may overreact to the ugly loss in Tampa Bay and put more value in Houston than there ought to be.
Green Bay is seeing some sharp action early in the week, and we get the benefit of eliminating the spread here. Besides, what about Houston's late-game collapse against Tennessee makes you confident in them? The Texans have flaws and Rodgers isn't throwing back-to-back picks for a second straight game.
Week 7 Parlay Betting: NFL Longshot Parlay (+2467 at BetMGM)
Okay, forget all of that modest odds and safe bet talk for a second. You're here to find out how you can stack up an enormous payout and go to sleep on a pile of money on Sunday night.
We're going to help you do that with some help from the new BetMGM Easy Parlay feature, which makes placing these wagers incredibly simple. So here's a longshot version of our Week 7 parlay picks.
Your longshot parlay will likely look a bit different but this is a great example of how quickly the payout can add up.
There are five sides in our bet: two totals, two spreads, and a moneyline. Without taking any massive underdog, we still managed odds of +2647, which could earn you over $1,300 from a $50 bet. For just $10, you can earn just about $265 in profit!

- Packers/Texans Over 55.5 (-110): The Texans have talent on offense and should be able to put up some points. On the other side, the defense cannot stop a nosebleed. After being embarrassed in Tampa Bay, the Packers respond in a huge way and this gets closer to 60 points.
- Pittsburgh Steelers ML (-133): Both teams continue to impress but the Titans are coming off two wins in five days, which has them riding high. But the truth is that Houston's ineptitude helped out big time last week and they haven't faced a defense like Pittsburgh's just yet. Steelers stay undefeated with a big road win.
- Dallas Cowboys ML (-110): This one is not for the faint of heart, because it won't be pretty no matter what. The only teams that give me as much pause as Dallas are other NFC East teams. Washington couldn't find a way to beat the Giants, which is about the only thing Dallas has actually done.
Consider a wager such as this one with these odds to be in that middle ground between a safe bet and a longshot bet. In this case, our odds are +538, which means we get more than five times our wager if the parlay comes through. *All lines are as of Tuesday, October 20.*
