The National Football League regular season is over and the playoffs are here, and it's time for us to make our Wild Card Weekend parlay picks!
Online sportsbooks in NJ, PA, and many other states are busy taking NFL bets every week of the season, but things reach another level when the playoffs arrive.
Not only are there more markets for each game during the postseason, but there are more games than normal during Wild Card Weekend this time around. That means there are even more ways to turn a profit on the playoffs.
Throughout the course of the season, there are few bet types as popular as parlays. The public loves these low-risk, high-reward wagers and even though there are less games on the docket than in a normal regular-season week, these will still be very common.
The playoffs can be unpredictable so to help provide some guidance, here are a couple of NFL playoff parlays based on wild card weekend NFL odds.
Best NFL Betting Sites For Wild Card Weekend Parlays
Not all online sportsbooks are the same. When it comes to bonuses, promotions, the markets offered, and the odds for said markets, some sites are certainly better options than others. Consider the following if you're looking for a sportsbook to sign up with in time for the Wild Card playoffs:

Best NFL Parlays | Wild Card Weekend Betting Picks
Online betting sites offer a seemingly limitless number of options when it comes to every NFL game. To offer a glimpse at some of those choices, we've built a few different parlays using odds from several sportsbooks to help guide bettors while they make bets for the opening round of the postseason.
Wild Card Weekend Parlays | The Favorites (+125 at BetMGM)
One of the more common NFL betting strategies for parlays is to link together multiple favorites on the moneyline. The odds are modest but these wagers are considered safer, especially in the postseason when underdogs tend to cover at unexpected times.
The following wager picks out three favorites to win regardless of spread and pays out at +125 on the BetMGM app:
The Seahawks get the Rams at home, which is a rematch of Week 16. Seattle won that game by 11 points and Rams QB Jared Goff could be a bit banged up if he plays. The Rams haven't been sharp enough in recent weeks to trust, so we are going with the NFC West champion Seahawks and Russell Wilson, who is the definition of consistency.
The Bucs are going on the road to play the Washington Football Team, which survived the lowly NFC East. Tampa is facing a really strong defense, but Tom Brady has a ton of weapons and Washington is unlikely to cover all of them for an entire game. At the same time, the WFT offense may not be able to keep up if its defense isn't completely lights-out.
New Orleans is a huge favorite at the Superdome, where it rarely loses. Covering a spread of nearly 10 points is asking a lot and even though the Saints are capable of winning by two or three scores, eliminating the spread altogether could make for a strong leg in a parlay that employs this kind of strategy.
NFL Wild Card Parlay Picks | Three-Leg NFL Parlay (+543 at DraftKings)
When people think of parlays, they think of minimal risk in exchange for a large reward. Below is a more traditional parlay, using conventional lines where they currently stand at DraftKings Sportsbook. The +543 odds indicate the potential to win more than five times the original investment if all three sides were to come through.
The AFC East champion Bills are hosting its first playoff game since 1996 and this is just not a team that is easy to bet against right now. The Bills' offense is strong enough to outscore any team in the AFC not rooted in Kansas City, and the Colts have been somewhat inconsistent.
There's no doubt Indy has the horses to keep this one close but while this line is still under a touchdown and likely to rise, get on the Buffalo bandwagon and root for a touchdown victory.
The Ravens and Titans are meeting in a rematch of last year's playoffs where Tennessee stunned Baltimore on the road. The setting is changing this year and the result will also. The biggest difference is the fact that the Titans' defense can't make a stop when it needs one. This could be a high-scoring affair, but one where Baltimore finds a way to win behind a stellar Lamar Jackson performance.
The Steelers and Browns have played two games this season under this total of 46.5 and we think the third will go the same way. Pittsburgh's offense likes to dink and dunk the ball with Big Ben under center and the Browns could have some trouble with the Steelers' defensive front. Ball control and the kickers could come into play here and this one stays low on Sunday night.
Wild Card Weekend Parlays | Alternate Lines (+430 at BetMGM)
Most online Sportsbooks let players buy and sell points from the original spread and total and place wagers using what we call alternate lines.
Alternate lines are growing in popularity, partly because they give the bettor so much freedom. There are a seemingly unlimited number of options to choose from, but we've narrowed it down to a few choices to build a Wild Card Weekend parlay with just a couple of alternate lines.
The Colts and Bills are both capable of putting up points. Wild Card games have gone under in recent seasons but with offenses as strong as these two, lowing the total to make this one a bit easier to hit feels like a play we can get behind.
The idea is the same in the Tennessee and Baltimore game, where we have two strong offenses and defenses that have a difficult time making stops. Perhaps the original total feels inflated, but the modified one with an alternate line is a bit more palatable, even if a bit of value is taken away.
On the real grass in Washington, we are taking a few points and going the other direction toward the under. Washington will lean on its defense and attempt to slow the game down to keep Tampa Bay's offense off the field as much as possible. The early line movement indicated this could be lower scoring than expected.
The Saints are double-digit favorites over Chicago at some sites, but our wager only requires New Orleans to win by a touchdown thanks to the alternate line.
NFL Wild Card Parlay Picks | Going For a Massive Payout (+1046 at DraftKings)
We're using alternate lines once again but this time, we are selling points from the original spreads and totals in an attempt to garner a massive payout. This is an option for those who want to risk a smaller amount with the hopes of winning big.
Your longshot parlay may not look exactly the same, but this is a great example of how the odds can stack up when putting together a few alternate lines. As you can tell, each one of these selections is in the plus-money category, which means we sold off points in exchange for longer odds. The line here is +1046 at DraftKings for just three legs, so it will be a tough bet to win but a massive payday if it does.

There are those who think the Colts could keep their Wild Card matchup with Buffalo closer than the odds indicate. If you're on that side of the fence, the Colts at +4.5 rather than the conventional +7 can earn a +130 line.
The Rams and Seahawks have played two games this season and both have come in at 39 points or less. Los Angeles is known for its defense and Seattle's defense has played much better of late, plus Jared Goff could be compromised. To take a few points off this total of 42.5, an attractive +143 could be had.
The Steelers are only a couple of weeks removed from being in free-fall mode and many want a reason to fade Pittsburgh, especially with the Browns in the playoffs for the first time in nearly two decades. But after keeping things close with its backup quarterback in Week 17, it's a possibility that the Steelers take it to the Browns in the Wild Card round. Giving away a little bit more than the regular point spread enhances the payout to +108 and increases the overall odds of the wager.Photo Credit: Associated Press
