FanDuel Cash Out Feature Arrives For Sports Betting

FanDuel Sportsbook has released a new option for NJ sports betting players looking to finish their bet and move onto the next one immediately.

A feature many players are sure to enjoy, the FanDuel Cash Out allows players to settle a wager before a game ends, whether it is a win or a loss. No longer will NJ online sports bettors have to wait until the game is over, even if the result of the game or wager is no longer in doubt.

How Does the FanDuel Sportsbook Cash Out Work?

Simply, a player can decide to pull the plug on their bet before the game ends. If it appears a sure defeat is in its way, the bettor can cut their losses and end the bet early. If a player is in front and wants to lock in their winnings, they can do that as well.

How much one can cash out for naturally depends on the status of the wager. According to FanDuel, the value of this option depends on “whether you’re ahead or behind and by how much.” Cash Out options continue to update throughout the game in real time, giving bettors the opportunity to strategically decide when to take the money and run or just cut their losses.

FanDuel’s Cash Out is not available for every wager and qualifying bets feature a button at the bottom of the page.

FanDuel Introduces Promotion To Pair With Cash Out Option

FanDuel sportsbook is ringing in the unveiling of its new feature by offering a “Cash In With Cash Out” promotion. The sportsbook is crediting players with $10 site credit just for using the Cash Out feature while wagering on an event. Players must be present in the state of New Jersey to receive the credit, which goes directly into a player’s account and is limited to one per player. It expires exactly one week after receipt if unused.

FanDuel Joins Heavy Hitters Already Using Cash-Out Options

Many of FanDuel’s direct competitors in the crowded NJ sports betting market already employ cash out options for customers. DraftKings Sportsbook is the leader of sports betting in New Jersey in terms of revenue and utilizes a cashing out option. Sugarhouse Sportsbook, which ranks third in revenue, also gives players the choice to cash out. FanDuel ranks second in terms of revenue but is putting itself on par with other NJ online sportsbooks in terms of amenities and features thanks to the new cash out option.
