With two successful weeks of the post-NFL season under our belt, we are back with XFL Week 3 predictions for those who can’t get enough of the gridiron!
The opportunity to wager on football even after the Super Bowl has passed is garnering massive interest. The opportunity to wager on football can’t be understated, and it’s obvious in the early going. It looks like the public is behind the new league from an attendance standpoint as well so far, judging by the league collectively drawing more than 6,000 additional spectators in Week 2.
The opening game on the Week 3 XFL schedule features the undefeated Houston Roughnecks as six-point favorites over the winless Tampa Bay Vipers. With the Vipers finally getting a game at home, is it time to fade the favorites? The Roughnecks are 2-0 on the schedule and 1-1 against the spread so far this season, while the Vipers are 0-2 with the spread.

This Tampa team can’t be wagered on in its current form. Through two weeks, a combination of three quarterbacks has achieved little success while the offense as a whole is struggling mightily under Marc Trestman. With only 12 points in two games, the Vipers are the ones worth fading.
Houston is having none of the issues that Tampa Bay is. The Roughnecks are thriving at 2-0 with breakout star P.J. Walker under center. Walker has accounted for seven touchdowns without any turnovers while leading the highest-scoring offense in the league (65 points through two games).
Even though Tampa Bay should be reinvigorated by finally getting a home game, we’re taking the Roughnecks against the spread for the first of our Week 3 XFL predictions. Consider making this bet early in the week and sign up with a William Hill NJ promo code to wager while the number remains at six points!
The preseason favorite Dallas Renegades visit the Seattle Dragons as 4.5-point favorites in perhaps the most highly-anticipated game of the week. Both teams managed to win in Week 2 after losing the opening game, and each is 1-1 against the spread as well.

The good news for Dallas besides the victory was QB Landry Jones making his debut, which resulted in 305 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions. The bad news is that Jones wasn’t particularly sharp, and the Renegades had to rely on its defense to keep it in the game for most of the way.
Dallas may have the most talented roster in the XFL and definitely hold a QB advantage if Jones can get the offense rolling, but the home underdog is worth a look here. The Renegades’ offense hasn’t quite clicked yet and I’m not sure a road game in Seattle will be the breakout game for Dallas.
The Dragons’ recipe for success began and ended with forcing three turnovers, and another defensive performance like that could be in store for a turnover-prone Dallas team. Seattle’s offense definitely leaves something to be desired, but it did manage 19 points in Week 1 against a strong DC defense.
It’s worth mentioning the noise factor doesn’t really compare to a Seahawks game with a sold-out crowd. But after drawing nearly 30,000 people to CenturyLink Field (an XFL record to date), maybe the Seattle fans are helping cultivate the league’s first home-field advantage.
This is the best line that can be found for Seattle both against the spread and on the moneyline so if you’re looking to bet the Dragons, consider signing up with a FoxBet PA promo code in the Keystone State.

St. Louis has split its first two contests but gets to play its first home game in team history as nine-point favorites over the New York Guardians with the total set at 41 points. The BattleHawks have covered each of their first two games but going with a total worked with our Week 2 picks, so we are avoiding the spread again in Week 3.
New York QB Matt McGloin only managed 44 yards through year air before being benched, and that was symbolic of the entire day. Between McGloin’s awful play and his negative comments at halftime, the Guardians’ offense appears to be in bad shape at the moment. With the BattleHawks at home for the first time, things could be really tough on a struggling offense.
But rather than jump all over the BattleHawks, we are looking at it from the other side. New York’s defense allowed just three points in Week 1 and although they gave up just 27 as a team last week, the terrible offense is to blame for part of that.
St. Louis QB Jordan Ta’amu dominated with 337 yards and three touchdowns through the air last week while completing 81 percent of his passes. So how did the BattleHawks only score 24 points? They ran it 43 times, that’s how. If New York contains Ta’amu a bit better than it did Cardale Jones, the running games for both teams should keep this one under the low total.
The undefeated DC Defenders have covered both games this season and are pretty huge favorites over the winless Los Angeles Wildcats, but we are looking squarely at another total to close out the Week 3 XFL predictions. The over-under is currently at 43.5 points at most PA betting sites including Fox Bet.

DC has quickly shown itself as the best overall team in the league right now. Its suffocating defense has produced five interceptions with two of them being returned for scores, and its offense is humming with former Ohio State standout Cardale Jones under center.
Jones has totaled over 500 yards passing with four touchdowns and one interception in the first two weeks. The Defenders have moved the ball with ease against both defenses it has faced to this point, and the Wildcats have not contained the passing game well at all.
The stats aren’t eye-popping, but Wildcats QB Josh Johnson did manage two touchdowns in his XFL debut against one of the better defenses in the league. It’s likely that Los Angeles does a bit more on offense than New York did against DC, a team that will be on the road for the very first time.
The Defenders should move to 3-0 in the end but the last of our XFL betting predictions this week is going to be over 43.5 (-110).
The four-game schedule is broken up throughout the weekend, with two games on both Saturday and Sunday. Keep in mind that the league airs games on multiple networks, so we’ve made things easy for you. Below are Week 3 XFL odds and a complete TV schedule:
XFL odds are available in every state where betting is legal, including at all the best NJ betting sites. We’re only two weeks into the season, so this league remains unpredictable in terms of handicapping. The good part is that we are in the same boat as oddsmakers, who are also guessing, but every game played gives us just a little bit more to go on when making XFL betting predictions.
