It may be post-Super Bowl but it’s still football season and we’re looking out for bettors who want a piece of the action by providing some XFL Week 4 predictions!
To this point, February football has fared well at the box office, where more fans have come out to see the games every week. After Week 2 saw an overall attendance rise of more than 6,000 spectators, Week 3 added another 5,000 onto that total.
For those who aren’t at the game, XFL betting picks have been extremely popular over the last month and should remain that way through the championship in late April.
Odds are available in every state where betting is legal, including at all the best NJ online betting sites, so what are you waiting for? Wagering on a new sport with only a few weeks of knowledge my seem challenging on the surface, but there is value to be found knowing that oddsmakers are playing a guessing game as well.
We are all in the same boat playing this guessing game, but each week provides new data points for us to use when making XFL betting picks, so let’s find out what the first three weeks have taught us going into Week 4.
The opening game on the Week 4 XFL schedule features the Los Angeles Wildcats as road favorites by a touchdown over the New York Guardians with the total set at just 40 points at William Hill Sportsbook in New Jersey.

Los Angeles is riding high after a 39-9 home win over DC to earn its first win, and things have turned around after a rough start. Former-NFLer Josh Johnson under center has produced pretty good results for the offense, and the defense settled down after allowing 62 points in its first two games.
There is no offense in the league as lost as New York’s, which has managed nine points over two weeks in back-to-back blowout losses. The Guardians turned to three different quarterbacks in Week 3 and it’s hard to even tell which direction they go against Los Angeles.
The spread being only seven points is somewhat fishy, even if its a road game for the Wildcats since they have scored 63 points in its last two games. The Guardians’ offense is terrible but its defense is actually pretty decent, and these lines tell us oddsmakers think New York’s defense can stiffen up at home. Even with the low total, we are inclined to agree.
We expect the Wildcats to win this game and improve to 2-2 but we are avoiding the spread in this one. Since it has hit in all three games this season so far, let’s go with another New York under for our Week 4 XFL predictions.
The St. Louis BattleHawks has emerged as one of the dominant forces in the XFL and the fact that this team a 12-point favorite over the Seattle Dragons on the Week 4 schedule proves that oddsmakers are taking notice.

The BatteHawks have established an identity, something some XFL teams haven’t yet done, and it’s translated to success. St. Louis is anchored by a strong defense and a bludgeoning run game with a two-headed monster of Matt Jones and Cristine Michael, the former of which leads the league in rushing.
Last week, St. Louis was a double-digit favorite with a game total of just 41 points. The BattleHawks easily covered while the game stayed under with a 29-9 score, and this week feels like a similar result. Seattle’s offense has struggled mightily and now goes on the road to perhaps the best environment in the whole league (Seattle’s is up there, too).
Take the home team giving away a ton of points and hope St. Louis once again dominates an inferior opponent with its strong run game. Things kick off on Sunday with two Texas teams in the most highly-anticipated matchup of the week. The undefeated Houston Roughnecks are visiting the Dallas Renegades as slight favorites in a game we are dubbing the first-ever Rodeo Rivalry in the XFL.

Breakout star P.J. Walker, who will definitely get a few looks from NFL teams this summer, leads the league with 748 passing yards and 12 touchdowns through three games, all wins for Houston. Alongside Walker, WR Cam Phillips has accounted for a league-leading 324 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, six of which have come the past two weeks.
The team hasn’t scored less than 28 points in any game so far and we’d be surprised if they didn’t near that total once again in Dallas, even if the Renegades are playing pretty well also.
The Renegades do have one of the league’s better QBs in former Steeler Landry Jones but it hasn’t translated perfectly just yet. Dallas has averaged 24.5 points over the past two weeks, both wins, but Jones has thrown four picks the two games and is still shaking off some rust after missing Week 1.
All three of Houston’s games have gone over while all three of Dallas’ contests have stayed under, which is why we are avoiding the 49-point total altogether. Instead, we are going to keep employing the strategy of riding the hot hand, and nobody is hotter than P.J. Walker and the Roughnecks.
This is the best price we can find for Houston early in the week so if you’re looking to bet the hottest team in the XFL, make sure you’re signed up with a DraftKings NJ promo code!
The Tampa Bay Vipers will still be searching or its first win on Sunday when it welcomes the DC Defenders to Raymond James Stadium as a slight underdog in Week 4 with the total set at 42.5 points on DraftKings, which also operates in the Keystone State as one of the top PA betting sites.

The defenders are throwing Week 3 in the trash after QB Cardale Jones tossed four interceptions in a brutal 39-9 loss to Los Angeles. It was a truly awful game that hurt all of Jones’ statistical numbers but is still only one game. DC has several weapons and holds a significant advantage on offense in Week 4 as it faced a Tampa Bay defense that allows about 25 points per game on average.
We took the over in DC’s hame last week and even though it didn’t go as we imagined, it still got past our point total. Looking at all sides of this one, we’re leaning toward another over for our Week 4 XFL predictions.
The Vipers’ platoon of Tyler Cornelius and Quinton Flowers worked out in Week 3, and it’s possible the Vipers have finally found something on offense after scoring 24 points. Throw in the fact that DC’s defense isn’t all that dominant, and this has the makings for a game that gets to 43 points rather easily.
*XFL Betting Predictions Record (began Week 2): 6-2
