We are more than halfway through the spring football season and we’ve enjoyed it so much that we’re continuing to help the gamblers out there with our Week 6 XFL predictions.
The sample size is small but this league has proven itself pretty unpredictable so far. That can create difficult betting circumstances but it also can be exciting, forcing you to embrace the randomness and dig deeper to find your angle. Luckily for all of us, we’ve had some success with our XFL betting picks to this point and we’re looking to stay on a roll as the second half of the season gets underway.
Everyone should be aware that odds are available wherever betting is legal, including many of the top NJ betting sites like FanDuel, William Hill, DraftKings, and FoxBet, among others. Anyone can wager on the XFL as long as they’re located in a state with legal sports wagering, which includes New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and West Virginia among others.
Just when we thought we had this league figured out, so much of what we learned gets thrown out the window. After scoring nine total points over two games, New York (3-2) has won two in a row and is fresh off a season-high 30 points. Some of that must be attributed to the defense securing a pick-six, but the offense was still efficient.

Speaking of scoring, that’s all the undefeated Houston Roughnecks (5-0) seem to do. Houston quarterback and MVP frontrunner P.J. Walker is the league’s top passer and nearly 300 yards clear of second place, and he’s also got 15 touchdowns. His top receiver, Cam Phillips, leads the league in receiving and has accounted for nine scores over five games.
The Guardians’ defense is formidable but there’s no evidence to say that the Roughnecks aren’t going to score at least 27 points in this game. From there, it becomes a question of whether or not New York can keep up. Things haven’t gone easy for Houston at every turn but in the end, this team manages to win by a touchdown on most occasions. The St. Louis BattleHawks (3-2) head to Tampa bay as three-point favorites over the Vipers (1-4) with the total set at 42 points. St. Louis’ defense has proven itself to this point, allowing 16 points or less in four of five games this season. At the same time, its offense has fallen asleep at times, as it did in a 15-6 loss last week. Sounds like an under, right?

Not to us, because you can’t only go back one week even though it is the easiest thing to do. The BattleHawks managed at least 23 points in each of the three games prior to last week and the Vipers have scored 59 points in the last two games and now return home to Raymond James Stadium, where they’ve played markedly better.
Since Tampa Bay is at home and finally moving the ball on offense, we don’t think the BattleHawks can slow this game down as much as they’d probably like to. It is true that both teams want to run the ball and that can kill the clock a bit, but one team played to 25 total points and the other to 75 total points. We are thinking it’s somewhere in the middle when the two clash, and it can reach 43 total points.

Two of the league’s toughest teams to handicap come together as the DC Defenders (3-2) host the Dallas Renegades (2-3) as four-point favorites according to XFL Week 6 odds with the total set low at just 35.5 points.

This is simple to us because DC is a whole different team when playing at home. Regardless of who is under center at quarterback, this team finds ways to win at Audi Field. What’s interesting is that both of Dallas’ wins have come on the road this season with all three of its losses at home, although now-injured Landry Jones was under center.
If Cardale Jones remains benched in favor of dual-threat quarterback Tyree Jackson, this team is going to keep running the ball. Against teams with strong running games, as DC possesses, the Renegades have given up yards. Both teams are going with a backup QB but we are trusting the DC running game in the first of Sunday’s XFL Week 6 picks.
Some sites already have DC giving away 4.5 points with that number still growing, so make sure you’re signed up with a William Hill NJ promo code if you’re looking to bet on the Defenders this week.
The Los Angeles Wildcats (2-3) travel to CenturyLink Field in the Pacific Northwest as 2.5-point underdogs against the Seattle Dragons (1-4) with the total set at 44.5 points. Seattle is a difficult team to trust and haven’t won in a month, although the lone victory did come at home. The good news is that Seattle managed a team-high 23 points on the road against Houston after staying within one score against St. Louis, also on the road. The problem is, there isn’t a thing they do particularly well on a consistent basis.

Los Angeles is coming off a 41-34 comeback win last week but hasn’t been the same when traveling, scoring under 20 points in every game. Wildcats QB Josh Johnson is second in passing yards and has 11 touchdowns in just four games, but only one of those was away from home.
The Dragons have an excellent home-field advantage and will be revved up by the fans, but the Wildcats should be a different road team with Johnson, who did throw for 325 yards in New York even though the team didn’t finish drives. Consider Los Angeles to come up with a big win for the last of your XFL Week 6 Predictions. If you’re also high on the road favorite and live in the Keystone State, a FanDuel PA promo code will get you a bonus bet up to $500 and go a long way toward getting you ahead before even placing a bet!
